The XX - Stars (Lazertag Remix)

One of my close friends recommended the XX to me recently.  In looking them up, I stumbled upon this remix of their track "Stars" that didn't seem too bad. So, Lisa, this one's for you.

MSNBC: Mexico says drug lord 'the Barbie' captured

Of course, this was the image that came to mind.

But the truth is a little more insidious.

musicHEADsphere 1.4

Another week, another musicHEADsphere over at music blog Inside the Circle. This week your disembodied consciousness winds up at the edge of the universe, explores the connection between mathematics and music, and discovers why time traveling back to record Neanderthal music is a bad idea.

New Ting Tings - "Hands"

I loves me some Ting Tings. This track has been floating around the web for a week or so now; a new track from their forthcoming album, Kunst, called "Hands".

Philadelphia Eagles 2010 Predictions

Being that this year I will be participating in an NFL Fantasy Football league with several of my Zune compatriots (where I'm a total noob to the entire process, having done it only once five years ago to humorous results), and having participated in our league draft today, I'm in a bit of a football mood. So, as I am wont to due most years, I'm throwing out predictions for this year's Eagles schedule.  Considering all of the changes over the past off-season, I'm not expecting a lot from the team this year. I'm not saying that they're bound for the cellar in the NFC East; but the loss of arguably the greatest quarterback and running back in your franchise's history should make even the most hardened fan nervous. All that being said, the most important thing is that the earthworms on the Linc's playing field should be breathing much easier this season, as Kolb should be able to consistently maintain the ball above ankle height.

So, here's the schedule and my predictions:

DateOpponentPrediction
9/12/2010PACKERSL
9/19/2010@ LionsW
9/26/2010@ JaguarsW
10/3/2010REDSKINSW
10/10/2010@ 49ersW
10/17/2010FALCONSL
10/24/2010@ TitansW
10/31/2010BYEN/A
11/7/2010COLTSL
11/14/2010@ RedskinsL
11/21/2010GIANTSL
11/28/2010@ BearsW
12/2/2010TEXANSW
12/12/2010@ CowboysL
12/19/2010@ GiantsL
12/26/2010VIKINGSW
1/2/2011COWBOYSW

So, I'm guessing this, as a transition year, will garner a 9-7 record of the Eagles. Can't wait to find out how close or far (far!) off the mark I could be.
